Challenging Equity and Autonomy: Examining Biased Treatment and External Influence within Our HOA"

The essence of a well-functioning homeowners association (HOA) is rooted in fairness, impartiality, and the preservation of members' autonomy. However, recent occurrences have unveiled concerning practices within our HOA board. Allegations of inequitable treatment towards specific members - Bill and Alex, have raised red flags. Cal Westra and David Boys force Bill and Alex ( both are honorable prior of La Cresta Board Directors who have contributed their time and effort to LAPOA for years) out of meeting room doors on the election Candidate announcement meeting on August 2nd, 2023.  Additionally, they allow external parties that have been engaged to influence association decisions, including those who do not reside in La Cresta. Moreover, the exclusion and mistreatment of Bill and Alex is potential issues with transparency and decision-making authority within our community.
